Saturday, May 5 - Showjump and Cross Country only. No Dressage.
Schooling events give competitors, especially those that are learning, the opportunity to ride or show. Green horses are welcome.
Jumper Shows give you the opportunity to sharpen your stadium skills and try the next level up with heights ranging from 18" to 3'6" and beyond upon request. A tentative schedule is provided on the entry form allowing you to plan your day. Registration is on the day of the event, and though high attendance may delay division start, we promise not to end a division before the scheduled start time.
Cross Country Schooling will be open on the same dates giving you the opportunity to try out all the cross country jumps in any order you like. You have time to practice difference approaches, heights, and combinations. The cross country course will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for $35 per rider/horse combination with registration on the day of the event.
Dressage Fix-a-Test. (Not offered on May 5, 2018) Each entry is 20 minutes and consists of riding the dressage test of
your choice for a score as though it were a show. You will receive
verbal feedback from a recognized dressage judge. You are then given
the opportunity to retake the dressage test or portion or the test for a
second score. At the conclusion, you will receive 1 or 2 score sheets
from the judge.
As with our Horse Trials, these Schooling Shows are open to the entire riding community, including horses, ponies and riders of all ages.
